Meet Our Team
Our dedicated staff members keep Yesterday’s Gone running 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to support our clients as they rebuild their lives and take control of their futures. Our entire staff receives training to ensure gender-specific, trauma-aware, informed, and responsive care to our clients.
Yesterday’s Gone is founded by Loree Tamayo, fellow abuse survivor. Ms. Tamayo’s faith in Jesus Christ is what she attributes to her healing and allowed her to create this organization. Yesterday’s Gone does not push religious beliefs on any of its guests, however we acknowledge Christ on our property and His role in creating new lives.
Yoko helps guests living in transition learn how to manage their emotions more effectively and to develop the practical knowledge and skills they need to succeed in life. They help families by providing support, education, and parenting advice and by mediating disputes during challenging times. Life coaches also serve as a link between families and community resources and services.
