The COVID-19 pandemic has achieved what wellness experts have been recommending for years—it has slowed life down. Although we are dealing with a challenging situation, slowing down has allowed an unexpected upside: the development of positive habits that can help make life better in the long-term.
We’re spending more time in nature, devoting time to hobbies,sleeping more, and focusing on teamwork— both at work and home. We’ve been able to reevaluate our priorities, particularly with protecting our families. This cultivation of mental wellness will have a lasting effect on us and our financial strategy.
Although summer is more than half over, taking a vacation (even if it is just in your backyard) can help build resilience and reduce stress.
