Alexandra Kinander joined the firm in 2007. She started as a paraplanner and has been working as a financial adviser since she obtained her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^TM designation in 2011. She is the firm’s in-house Health Insurance & Medicare specialist and handles Group Retirement & Health Insurance Plans for business owner clients.

Born and raised in Brazil, she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business in her home town of Sao Paulo. She practiced corporate and securities law in New York until her husband’s career took them to San Diego in 2004 where she made her career transition to Financial Planning.

Having young kids herself, Alex particularly appreciates working with young families and helping them understand the importance of a disciplined and early approach to retirement planning.
